I know UF is considered the best school in Florida, and don't doubt for many degrees UF is better, but I have also heard great things about UCFs emerging CS program, its competitive programming team, CS research (especially …I also got into UF for CS, and AFAIK, it isn’t the best uni for CS (when compared nationally to GTech, UIUC, UW, UC Berkeley, etc.), but it is the best in Florida.
